Relationships

Goku: Rather obviously, Goku is Gohan's father. Many Gohan fans often accuse Goku of only being there for Gohan for the first four years of his life (which is honestly true). Although Goku is what could be considered a terrible father, Gohan still looks up to him. As I've seen mentioned on some other sites, it's interesting how Gohan is the only one who can say he saw Goku first transform into a SSJ (since Frieza died) and Goku was the only one who saw Gohan first transform into a SSJ. You can't help but wonder if that was just a coincidence.

Chichi: Ah. The insane, over protective mother. Chichi wanted Gohan to be a scholar from the instant he was a small baby and she got what she wanted. It was Chichi who forced Gohan to study through his whole life (no fair!). Although she's rather insane and has a quick temper while doing it, Chichi only wants the best for Gohan.

Piccolo: Ironicly enough, it's him who becomes Gohan's best friend. Anyone who has seen or knows the story from the Piccolo saga of Dragonball knows that Piccolo wanted only to kill Goku, yet it's Goku's own son who softens Piccolo up. Piccolo even died from protecting Gohan from a blast from Nappa in the saiyan saga. Although it almost seems as though their friendship dulls over the years, Gohan still seems to respect Piccolo just as much as his own father.

Videl: Videl is a girl Gohan meets while in high school. She seems to want to find out all of his secrets and eventually even finds them out! She blackmails Gohan into teaching her how to fly and to enter the Budoukai or else she would tell everyone he was Saiyaman. To make a long story short, the two of them fall in love and eventually get married and have a daughter named Pan.

Pan: Pan is Gohan's rather fiesty (and to some people annoying) daughter. She first appears at the end of DBZ at a Budoukai. Not much is really known about their relationship because of how much Gohan is NOT in DBGT (*growls*), but judging by how happy Pan is when she sees him, we can imagine she's a bit of a daddy's girl.

Kuririn/Krillin: Kuririn seems to look at Gohan as being his "little bro" (as he calls him in the dub) through the series. The two of them work together with Bulma through the Frieza saga to collect the Namek dragonballs. One of the more funny moments between them was in the Cell Games saga when everyone was up on the lookout and Juuhachigou (18) had just woke up and Kuririn was kinda stuttering to tell her things when out of the blue, Gohan exclaims, "I KNOW! KRILLIN, YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON ANDROID 18, DON'T YOU!" Then Kuririn hits him over the head and says, "Thanks a lot, Mr. Smooth." xD Kuririn teases Gohan about having a crush on Videl through the Buu saga.

Dende: Dende was originally saved by Gohan and Kuririn during the Namek saga from a bunch of Frieza's goons. He and Gohan become quick friends, but then Dende's killed by Frieza (meany!). After being wished back with Earth's dragonballs along with all the other Nameks, Dende stays at Capsule Corp. for about a year before they all make a wish for the Nameks to live on a new planet, New Namek. The scene where Gohan and Dende are saying good bye is so sad. ;_; I wanted to cry with them. They were just too cute. xD Anyway, Dende comes back in the Cell Games saga and becomes Earth's new guardian and he and Gohan are still good friends. xD In some fanfictions Dende can be claimed as Gohan's tourcherer after he generally gets drunk and tries to ruin Gohan's school life. *cough* That's only in fanfiction though. xD

Bulma: Gohan travels with her and Kuririn to Namek during the Namek/Frieza sagas and that's pretty much where they really have a relationship. : / Bulma made Gohan's Saiyaman outfit. Now here's my two cents on that one. O_O;; Bulma's a fashionable woman, WHERE IN THE HECK DID SHE COME UP WITH THAT-THAT THING?! O_O;;

Mirai Trunks: In Trunks' future, Gohan was his sensei. Mirai Gohan often called Trunks his brother, so to speak. Now the current Gohan's relationship with Trunks is pretty much just a friendship. They can pretty much relate to each other since they're both demi saiyans. :P

Vegeta: At first, it can pretty much be said that they don't like eachother AT all. They even have a small fight on Earth after Goku "dies" on Namek. From what we can tell, Gohan is the ONLY person Vegeta has ever said sorry to and ment it. He said it after Gohan protected him from a ki blast from Cell and injured his left arm. Vegeta, all though he doesn't show it, seems to have a small respect towards Gohan from that moment on.

Cell: Lmao. We can't exactly say their relationship is peachie. Gohan KILLED Cell. xD Cell had it stuck in his mind that he had to see Gohan's hidden power and boy, did he! I imagine one word to describe their relationship is "hatred."
