Music
If you download these please don't use them for illegal purposes. ¬_¬ Every single one of these came from CDs I bought. I've only bought one of the American CDs (and I NEVER plan to do that again), but I guarantee that buying the Japanese CDs is worth it. I would suggest buying them from CD Japan. They are rather expensive, but what can I say? The value of a yen is much higher than the value of an American dollar (the value's rapidly decreasing, too, so if you're going to buy Japanese stuff...buy it now XD). Not only that, but there's shipping you have to pay, too. ^_^;; Having bought many things from Japan though, I can't say that I'm dissapointed. They're goods are so much better than the junk you find here in the United States. XD
Anywho, if you can't decide on what CD to get (since there are dozens of them), I would suggest looking through Daizenshuu Ex's database of music. It's been my reference for every Dragonball CD I've bought. :D
Japanese Dragonball Music:
Chala Head Chala
Dragonball Z's first intro! It's sang by Hironobu Kageyama. :P Ran from the Saiyajin saga through the Seru Games saga. It's a fast and up-beat song.
Detekoi Tobikiri ZENKAI Power
This is Dragonball Z's first outro that's sung by Manna. It ran from the Saiyajin saga through the Seru Games saga. ^_^ In the outro, it features Gohan-chan running up a hill. It's an incredibly cute song.
We Gotta Power
The second intro to DBZ! It's sang by Hironobu Kageyama. It ran from the Saiyaman saga through the end of the series.
Boku-Tachi wa Tenshi Datta
^_^ My favorite of all the intros/outros. It's sang by Hironobu Kageyama. It's one of the more emotion-filled songs of Dragonball. It ran from the Saiyaman saga through the end of the series.
Unmei no Hi: Tamashii VS Tamashii (Day of Destiny: Spirit vs. Spirit)
The ever-popular song that played during Gohan's super saiyajin 2 transformation in the Seru Games saga. It, like many of the songs from Dragonball, is sang by Hironobu Kageyama.
Oumori Raisu Boi (A Big Serving of the Rice Boy)
XD For anyone wondering where in the world I came up with the name of the site...this song inspired it! Sang by Hironobu Kageyama. ^_^ I just love this song so much. You MUST listen to it! XD
Pikoro-san Daisuki! (I Love Mr. Pikoro!)
Possibly the most adorable song I've ever heard. ^_^ Gohan-chan sings about his admiration for good 'ole Pikoro-san! Sang by Nozawa Masako (Son Gohan).
Tenkai'ichi Gohan (The World's Greatest Gohan)
Crazy, I say! This is such a happy song. Too happy. This song plays during the first movie when Gohan is running around after getting drunk off of that fruit he ate (no, he's not hallucinating like the dub states, since they can't use the word "drunk," apparently -_-;;). He sings about octopuses that are Shinto priests...which suprises the sun, so the sun gets angry and cooks it. o.o Then the Earth dances and volcanoes sing. Scary... Sang by Nozawa Masako (Son Gohan).
I-KE-NA-I Urara Majikku (The Wrong Kind of Ooh-La-La Magic)
O_O This is one of the weirdest songs I've ever heard. Basically, Chichi forces Gohan into singing karaoke with her. Crazyness ensues... Sang by Nozawa Masako (Son Gohan) and Watanabe Naoko (Chichi).
Kokoro Kara Nureta Futari (Two Truely Soaked People)
Because I'm not good enough at the Japanese language, I can't really figure out what they're singing about. ^^;; I have yet to come across a translation, so...I'll just tell you what I CAN get out of it. XD Chichi and Gohan are at some karoake place and this guy sings, so Chichi gets all excited and (as usual) forces Gohan to sing karaoke with her. Gohan-chan sounds miserable through the whole song. XD It's sang by Nozawa Masako (Son Gohan) and Watanabe Naoko (Chichi).
Mama wa Shiawase Inotte ’ru (Mom is Wishing for Happiness)
This song is sang by Manna, with spoken lines by Watanabe Naoko (Chichi). It's about Chichi's obsession with Gohan's well-being. XP
Asa - Hiru - Yoru - Kimi - Boku (Morning - Daytime - Night - You - Me)
What does this song have to do with Gohan? Absolutly nothing. XD But since I love this song...I had to post it somewhere! This is one of Kuririn's image songs that he sings about wanting a girlfriend in. XD Gotta love this one. Sang by Tanaka Mayumi (Kuririn).
English Dragonball Music:
(Just a note that there aren't reviews for these because frankly...they're background music AND I haven't listened to them for ages)
Gohan Angers
Gohan on Film
Gohan Powers Up
Gohan vs. Doubler
Gohan vs. Doubler II
