Saiyajin no Ouji: His Relationship with Vegeta

I believe that the two of them have more of a relationship than what some people might think. The two of them have always seemed to share a bond in my opinion. The first time that it was seen outwardly was in the Seru Games saga when Gohan got in front of the ki-blast that Seru had released to kill Vegeta. Some people say that if he hadn't have protected Vegeta, he would have finished Seru off sooner. I disagree, because I really don't think Gohan would have beat Seru had Vegeta not distracted Seru with his small ki-blast. I really do think that Vegeta had a large role in Seru's defeat.

In the Buu saga, Vegeta vows to avenge Gohan's "death" by Buu. Do you think he would really do that for most of the Z-senshi? The only other people I think he would do it for are Buruma, Trunks and possibly Gokuh. It's obvious that at some point, whether it was the before or after the Seru Games saga, Gohan earned Vegeta's respect.
